Welcome to GKA

Where independence takes root

GKA Montessori School is a Montessori-based early learning program for children ages 2–6 in Edmonds, WA. It is a warm, engaging, and supportive place where children learn at their own pace.

This fall, our center at 24310 76th Ave W reopens as a Montessori school. We are preparing the classroom now, and we would love to show it to you.

Full-Time

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Monday–Friday · 4 days/week · 3 days/week

The whole Montessori day. Morning work cycle, lunch and rest, then afternoon work and time outside.

Half-Day Mornings

Mornings, Mon–Fri · 8:00–12:00

The morning work cycle, snack, and time outside, with pickup at noon.

Half-Day Afternoons

Afternoons, 4 days · 1:00–5:00

Afternoons, 3 days · 1:00–5:00

Practical life, art, and outdoor play, three or four afternoons a week. A good first step into a school routine.
